anyone else find themselves losing weight?
i am 17 weeks and each time i go to the doctor i weigh less than before.
I believe i was 118lbs before pregnancy and then i went up to 124 and now down to 119.
Maybe its the heat and the running around?
i def. eat. 3 times a day and a few snacks in between if i am hungry.
I noticed that i have a much smaller appetite.
my portion sizes are much smaller but not by choice!! if i eat a full entree, i end up soooooooooooooo unbearably full.
this baby must be sitting on my stomach.

unless the doctor is worried about how much the baby is measuring i wouldn't worry  you will put the weight back on, trust me!

I have lost about 2-3 lbs. Dr said don't worry, it's not a big deal. I am almost 19 weeks. I do eat better now,but not at all as much as I used to so that's why I am losing.

It happened to me at the beginning too and I had some concerns. The baby was still growing so the doctor had no concerns whatsoever. everyone is different. At my 24 week appointment I was only up 10 pounds and that is with gaining nothing over my normal the first 16 weeks, then 2 pounds weeks 16-18, then 1 pound a week from week 18 to 24...

I consistently lost weight in the first trimester. By 16 weeks I was down 14lbs. I was getting a little concerned as I only threw up 2x, so i knew the weight loss was not due to morning sickness. I had no appetite, so the weight loss was due to not eating as much as I should have been. I was so scared that I was starving my baby. But at 17 weeks I started to get my appetite back & by my 20 week appt I gained back 4 lbs. So right now I am still down 10 lbs.

i wouldnt worry...by 30 weeks I had only put on 9lbs (im 5'8" and athletic build) my doc was ready to send me to a dietican...i didnt end up having to go thank goodness...i ended up putting on 20lbs (DD was born 5 days after my EDD)
Just eat when your hungry...if the baby is growing fine and the doc isnt concerend I wouldnt be either!

Dont worry, I didnt gain any weight for a long time. I only ended up gaining 16 pounds with my Daughter and the doctor said it was fine....If your doctor is not concerned then its ok

I keep losing weight (but i'm only 10 weeks). I'm down to 113 now, and I had gotten as high as 121 in all my bloatedness!

I'm not losing weight but keeping at a steady number... i just read today on babycenter that i'm supposed to be gaining 4 pounds every 4 weeks in my 2nd and 3rd trimester and unless i stuff my face with ice cream everyday i dunno HOW that's gonna happen! on the one hand i like not being a balloon, but on the other hand i'm scared i'm not gaining enough for  ...oh well! i figure if my dr doesn't yell at me about it, i must be okay!

I am not pregnant now, but I only gained two and a half pounds when I was pregnant with my son...I had no appetite, and my son was born very healthy, no complications at 7 lb 14 oz.

From my 30th week to my 32nd week I lost 3 pounds at the appointment.
At my 34 week appointment, the nurse was obviously not paying attention as she said I weighed 150 pounds. I as I was 157 pre-pregnancy and I am now 35 weeks.
DER, I think maybe I should go to nursing school.

haha no I wish I had this problem, I lost only in the very beginning when I suffered with MS, but now in my 2nd trimester going on 22 weeks, the scale keeps going up at each monthly visit and doctor is happy with what I've gained so far. It's amazing how fast the weight goes on although it only appears to me to have gone to my belly. My pre pregnancy weight was 118 and now up I'm 14 lbs from there.
