that person is just an assshole.
BUT by the same token...it could just be that you are so hotttttt, no one would expect to find even the slightest fault anywhere...your itty bitty rash scars are just god's way of being kind to the rest of us

people are so friggin rude. I walked inside after being out at the pool this weekend and my SIL goes, "Oh my GOD you have SO many freckles...do they go away?"  Just ignore them.

I did not see it but I bet it is not as bad as you think. Like Melbernai said, you have such a good personality and spirit, I am sure that is shining through way more than some scars will and that is what people will notice!
As for your coworker, I guess her momma never taught her about tact??

I didn't see the pic, but what is the scarring like? Raised? Is it discoloration: red, brown?
is your rash still active?
Have the derms suggested anything like laser treatments or chemical peels to help reduce or remove the scarring or will it exacerbate your rash?
have you tried anything like alpha hydroxy acids?
should the rash become active again, you might want to look into lotions with copper peptides. they help wounds heal faster, reduce scarring and it's an anti-inflammatory agent.
