Re: I'm getting the Brazilian Straightening done
I got it done and pretty much adore it.
My one suggestion (especially in this head/humidity) is to try and avoid sweating at all costs. If your hair gets wet from sweat, the treatment doesn't take as well or last as long (on me that the little curls around the hairline that need it the most).
Other than that, avoid any products or shampoo/conditioners with sodium chloride.
good luck, you'll love it!

Re: I'm getting the Brazilian Straightening done
I had the keratin complex last month. It's similar to the brazillian, but they claim it has less harmful chemicals (who knows if it's true). My hair is fantastic now and stays straight and smooth in high humidity days like today. I'm annoyed that I suffered through so many summers with frizzy hair and didn't do this sooner.
The only bad part was not being able to wash it for 3 days after the treatment. I had to go to work with greasy hair that was practically plastered to my head, and my coworkers kept asking me why I looked so dirty.

I had the same exact treatment and I feel the same as you. When the weather is normal, I wonder if it was worth the money, but days like today I thank God I did it!

Re: I'm getting the Brazilian Straightening done
I had it done in April and I was happy with it. Less frizzy and more manageable. Make sure you use the sulfate free shampoo so it will last longer.
