Need advice...Updated

Hi, I am a new member but long time lurker. I got married 9/07 and was on bc from 8/07 for 6 cycles. Latest cycles CD1 dates were: 1/15 (28 day cycle), 2/12 (31 day cycle- i think this was first month off of bc), 3/14 (29d), 4/12 (28d), 5/10(29d). My last period started on 6/8. (Sorry for all of the dates!). So now I am on CD42 and no AF yet. Only dates we bd unprotected were 6/25 and 7/12. Tested 7/14 with ept and bfn. I have been feeling like af is coming since last weekend. Other symptoms i have had are headache, painful gums, sore breasts and cramps(which are also af is coming symptoms for me). So I guess my question is what should i do now? Test again? What if another bfn? Call MD?

I'm not going to be such a big help for you bc I can't take BC. I do know that coming off it can make your AF screwy. Except that with the dates you posted you seem pretty regular. I would test again bc maybe you ovulated when you thought you weren't or maybe you have a late implanter if you are pg.

My advice would be to test again and if it's neg then make a Dr.s appt. so that they can do an ultrasound and see what's up.

you can get false negatives, I would call your doctor. I was on BC for 13 years and just went off it this month and got two periods 10 days apart. I think it's an adjustment thing.
