Re: Honestly Girlies....
Honestly, I won't eat the cold cuts. I feel for that its not a moderation thing. I don't know where the delis etc. store their stuff or at what temp. That one turkey sandwich could have listeria and if I get sick and something happens to my babies I will never forgive myself. I will eat it if its heated though. I will eat hot dogs - who eats hot dogs that aren't hot? I always wonder this. I mean, does anyone take a hot dog out of the package and just eat it? ew. I bought nitrate free hot dogs, which is better in general - nitrates aren't good for anyone. I am not a coffee drinker, but I will have soda sometimes and I never deny myself chocolate. I am not an alarmist, but I read about the listeria thing everywhere, I just won't take any chances. That is my personal decision, and I totally respect those who make different decisions.

also add tomato to that list of fobidden foods... I've been at the FDA for banning tomatoes for over a month, when the salmonella outbreak apparently 'peaked' a month or 2 before the ban began......
I happily munched on dozens of tomatoes the whole time.... I figured I would have gotten sick in may (before any warnings) if there really was a problem
mmm, grilled cheese with tomato
LOVE grilled cheese with tomato
