Would this bother you?

I was at Motherhood to buy some tee shirts and while I was on line, saw this woman OPENING the underwear packs to get a closer look at the panties. She would open the plastic container, pull out a panty, unroll it, hold it out to look at it, then put it back in. I didn't see whether she rolled them back up.

She did this to like 4 packs!

Now, I always wash any underwear I buy before wearing, but for some reason I was like, Chat Icon to myself.

Am I just a hormonal bytch or was she kind of wrong?

Re: Would this bother you?

I will only buy things in packs that are rolled nicely (underwear, onesies) that way I know most likely no one took them out.

Re: Would this bother you?

Honestly, I did that because sometimes people shove bikinis into the brief packages and I ended up with underwear i could not use. I wash them when I get home.

Re: Would this bother you?

i also only buy the packs that have never been opened and always wash undies before wearing them- but if i really wanted to see what they look like, i try and find a pack that has already been opened... sometimes it is really hard to tell from those little packs and that stuff is not always returnable...

Re: Would this bother you?

Nope wouldn't bother me in the least.. She was not wearing them first just looking at them. Now if she started trying them on over her clothes that would be weird but no reason to despise!!! Kind of harsh Chat Icon

Chat Icon I take it you don't *get* my sense of humor? My remark of "despising" this woman was purely in jest....

Re: Would this bother you?

I'm confused how is this gross - isn't is the same as you handling the panties that aren't in packages. It might be rude to be destroying merchandise that people probably won't buy because it is opened, but not gross.

I agree. My DH buys Calvin Klein and it's in a box. We alway open them to check b/c he has bought them and came home with the wrong underwear or size in the box. So I personally don't find it odd. As long as you wash them, you have to assume someone touched them.

Re: Would this bother you?

Not really. You really cant tell the cut & size by looking at the package alone. The way she put it back in the package was inconsiderate though. She should have at least tried to fold it like the way she found it. This is why you have to wash them before you wear them.

Re: Would this bother you?

Not really. I would probably do this myself to see what they look like, you can't tell when they are rolled up into a package.
Now if she was unrolling them and using them to blow her nose or something, then that would be gross! Chat Icon
