When you get your highlights touched up..
I had my highlights done with the foil a few months ago. I just went for a touch up and they said the color is lighter than when I had it done so..they did the roots and then..I think did a glaze on the rest of the hair. No foil was used.
My problem is, I swear my hair is darker overall than it was before I walked in.
Is this normal?
I'm already looking for a closer salon because driving 30+ minutes with these gas prices are killing me.

I believe that a colored glaze will make your hair darker. Did they foil your roots or just throw a glaze on? I like my hair light so after I get highlights I get a clear glaze.

No foil was used this time (is that normal?) and they used a colored glaze.

If you wanted your highlights touched up they should have done that, IMO but I'm not a hairdresser.
On a positive note, the colored glaze will definitely fade especially if you're outside a lot in the summer.

Yeah..I mean that's what the appointment was specifically for so I was a little confused as to why it was just straight coloring on the roots and then coloring the rest of the hair.
Good to know about them fading though.
