Coach Question... UPDATE!
Will they send out bags to be repaired? I have a 10 year old leather bag that I use for work and the bottom is worn. I don't mind paying but I'm not in the mood to deal with them being snotty about it. My receipt is long gone.
Update: I went up to the Coach store at Smithaven yesterday and they were great about it! The woman took my info and typed in the code on the inside of the bag. They didn't charge me a thing and she said that I would have my bag in 4-6 weeks! I'm excited to see how it turns out.

I'm pretty sure they don't...if they can't fix it for free they will let you know (used to work for them).

I actually just had to do this a few weeks ago. I have a bag that ripped along a seam that is 4 years old. They charged $20(I guess for shipping) but weren't able to fix it so they sent me back my bag along with a 40% off coupon. It took about 3 weeks.

I had this happen recently also.
THey charge $20. That covers shipping & handling..there is no charge for the "evaluation"/"fixing" of the bag...They could not fix my bag, so I got a credit in the mail for the amount of the bag to be used at a regular retail store.
They may evaluate it and deem it normal wear & tear & then send it back to you witha coupon for a discount..that is what they did for my moms.
