absent period

Hello all,

This is kind of long but I am hoping someone here can help me.

My period is 9 days late. I keep testing negative on HPT. DH was away on business during my fertile time.

The thing is I am never late and last month(May) I got a very odd, light period, but then a slightly normal period for two days.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a doctor's appt but not until Aug 5th.

An absent AF or an AF change can be anything from being underweight, hormone changes, stress..name it? In some cases there is a problem with the pituitary. I would just keep track of the days you get it, how light/heavy they are, how many days they last. Also, track your symptoms- bloating, severe/mild cramping. Then take this to your doctor when you see him in Aug.

There are many things that can cause AF to be late. 9 days is not that long at all, and you may have just ovulated later than you thought this month which would cause your AF to be late.
