question...
I went to the bathroom before and wiped and saw a touch of blood. AF is here... so today would be CD 1 right?

I would have thought yes in the past, but I read that it is the first day of blood flow, not just staining . . .
I have also read that it is the first day that staining occurs also, so I am now unsure.
I would like to know what others think . . .

I agree with the spotting not counting... i put a tampon in and the tip had a little CM with some red blood sorry for the TMI and nothing else. Maybe I should just wait and see what happens over night and count tomorrow as CD 1?

i was always told that CD1 is when you have full blown AF.. not just spotting.

CD 1 is the first day of full blown AF, not just spotting, no matter what color the spotting is.
