When is the AFP test typically done?
I am getting conflicting info. What week/weeks is the AFP blood test typically done?

At my office it is between 16-18 weeks. I had mine at 17 weeks.

I originally had it scheduled for 15w4d, but then resheduled it for 16w5d.

Thank you so much!
My dr told me to come back in a mth for the AFP (at the time) but I couldn't get the appt in a mth, only sooner or later. So I made the sooner one, then called back for the later one b/c I was thinking the first one was too early at 15w4d.

On the paperwork from my lab it said between 16 and 21 weeks, I believe...
