Has anyone ever been to Costa Rica?
I haven't even gone on this year's trip and I'm already planning next year's! We are booked for Jamaica in December and I'm thinking about 2009 and I really like what I have been hearing and seeing about CR.
Anyone have any experiences??

my bro went last year-he stayed w/a friend who lives there n teaches there...she doesnt live close to the beach or to the rainforest, but he said he liked it
my cousins cousin got married there and everyone LOVEDDDDDDDD it!

We went on our honeymoon and LOVED it. I highly recommend using memorablecostarica.com to plan! They are a wonderful company, they knowthe country inside and out.

I dunno, I was kind of disappointed in Costa Rica. I'm not a big adventure/nature-vacation type of person, when I go to a resort-type vacation I just want to lay out and relax. Costa Rica is more of an adventurous place, the beaches aren't really that nice, and they don't really do the all-inclusive thing like other places do.
I think its completely overrated.

i second memorablecostarica.com!! DH and i went in april and had a great time. we visited the arenal volcano, monteverde, and manuel antonio regions. we had a great time. it was a bit like hawaii in that you can be as busy or lazy as you like, and is beautiful.

It is my favorite vacation yet.
it's definitely more about adventure then lying on the beach but you definitely can do that too. We went hiking horseback riding canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving. The naure and wildlife was amazing!
