I have. Around this time it is probably either a low lying placenta or sensitive cervix. I have had this on and off though my pregnancy. Brown blood is usually no issue, but ask your Dr for a sono-you will feel much better!

ETA: I am about a week ahead of you

Re: pls help - spotting

I've had so much spotting this pregnancy. It worried me at first but the doctor told me what to look for as signs of concern and I never have more than a little bleeding/spotting that eventually goes away.
Try not to worry too much. Brown blood typically isn't something to worry about. Chat Icon

I'm only just about 7 weeks but have had on and off spotting (brown) since about 5 weeks. Dr. said it's normal and could continue on for weeks. As long as it's not bright red coupled with cramping, it should be ok, but def call your dr. just in case. It will also help to put your mind at ease. Chat Icon

Severe cramping, a lot of bright red blood and clotting.
I agree with Melijane, it's probably a little bit of placenta lying on your cervix.

I stopped mine at 12 weeks-did you taper off? I did so maybe thats it? I would just ask them to look at your placenta during the sono-they can do an internal but that will probably make you spot moreChat Icon I rented a doppler and when I have spotting it always helps to find their heartbeats.
