I havent had a pedicure in 2 months
Becasue I have been doing it at home!
Between the pedi egg and my cuticle removing gel and some good tools, and the better top coats and base coats i have at home, with a little elbow grease, i feel that i do a much better job than then salon does... and between the actual pedicure fee and the tip, i am saving myself $30 a pop
so i feel like so far, ive saved myself at least 6 pedicures $180!

I think I do a much better job than the salons. I very meticulous and the polish lasts way longer when I do it myself.
I've been alternating between doing my own and going to the salon. (I've been going to the salon more for the massages.  )
That's a great savings though!!!

Wow thats great.
If u don't mind me asking what kind of cuticle gel and base/top coats do u use?
I would love do start doing my nails on my own too. I hate though when u work so hard and the polish chips right off.

same here. I use the ped egg every 2 weeks, a pumice stone buffer inbetween and bought a bunch of essie nail polish and base top coat. You'd never know I didnt get a pedi at the salon.

I do the same thing!!!
also, i use a peppermint & poppy seed lotion for feet (i think its Freeman or St. Ives.. its cheap) and its awesome!! I also included a daily foot routine after every shower (i use the little nail cleaner thingy from the pair of nail clippers and clean the nails/ sweep away dead skin and then massage in the moisturizer). Keeps my feet feeling amazing Everyday!!!

Me too! And what is so odd is I am great at doing my own fingernails.
You would think that toes would be easier - since I'm right handed and can use my right hand at all times when doing toes.
I think the problem is how small my toenails are in comparision to my fingernails...my hand is just not steady enough.
But alas, I have been doing them myself all season long- because I have a toenail injury and until it heals- I can't get professional pedis....
Needless to say- I can't wait for my toe to heal!!

I do my own nails but could never give up salon pedicures. the 10 minutes foot & leg massage alone are worth it

I do them myself also---and have the pedi-egg and lots of good colors at home....
but I do MISS getting pedicures. I need to get one soon. There is something so relaxing about it.
And my places charges 12 during the week for mani/pedi and 15 on the weekends for a mani/pedi. It really isn't too expensive!!
