Anyone else here feel like they worry too much?

Everyday I am worried about something new. It could be the smallest, rarest chance of something yet something new crosses my mind everyday. I don't want to feel this way, but I just do. I can't help it. Can anyone relate?

YES! I worry about everything. I was like that with my first PG too! It is like my brain never shuts off.

That's exactly how it feels. My brain NEVER slows down. I just woke up with an entirely new worry, I literally woke up thinking it. It is honestly very draining.

I feel for you. How did you deal in your first pg?

yep, the whole time i was pregnant and even when she was first born, just bc it is something you have no control over and u want it to be alll ok, you're def not alone

I do. I heard that it's completely normal, and just "preparation" for the next, oh, 50+++years of our lives when s/he is here!

I also try not to read threads on here where people suffered the loss of their unborn child. I try to remind myself for that everyone this happens to, hundreds of women give birth to healthy babies.

Yes!!! I sometimes find myself waking up at night being worried!!! I just that everything will be alright with the baby!!

I am the queen of worrying...it's terrible...every feeling or move I make I freak out and wonder if I did something wrong...even when I sneeze or laugh too hard I worry

Absolutely, my mind is always wondering of fearing things. I think many people feel this way specially the first time around. You're def. not alone!

I worry a lot too, you are definitely not alone. The unknown and the fact that I have no control over what happens makes it scary and makes me worry more. This might sound weird but if I start to worry about something I'll just say two words to myself "Not Helpful" and it actually helps me to think about something else! It reminds me that there's nothing good to come out of worrying and it helps me realize what I'm doing. Try it!

Thanks for posting this!! I'm only 9 weeks, and I am wishing away the first trimester. My PG has been great so far, and I still worry. And then I worry that I'm not enjoying this pregnancy. It's a viscious cycle, but with all the info that is at our fingertips, accessing (the wrong, scary) info is just too easy.

Anyway, I do find that when my mind is occupied at work or busy on the weekends I'm at my best.

I so with you. I feel like it's every second. If I see something I worry, if I feel something I worry...but then again if I DON'T feel anything or see anything I worry too. So I'm screwed either way. And I think I've roped DH into my worrying (he's usually not a worrier like I am normally) because he calls me 20 times a day now to ask me how I'm feeling and then it's like I have to examine how i've been feeling the last...10 minutes and then I worry again. It's exhausting.

Thank you all for your posts. It is comforting to know we are not alone. Dh doesn't fully understand, and not many people can. Anyone who wants to chat about worrying, feel free to FM me so we can commiserate.

I worry everyday, I think it's natural. I wish I could have a little window that I could just peek in there at the baby whenever I wanted to! I guess because this whole thing is out of my control and that's what makes it so hard. I eat well and take vitamins, sleep when I'm tired and thats about all I can do from my end! It's frustrating, but I also dont want to wish away my pregnancy b/c I am sure I'll worry more about different things when the baby is born!
