Need advice! help! (long)
I don't post much but I am torn as to what to do here or if anyone has experienced. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, sorry for the long post in advance.
March 16 was the last time I had a period. I went to the OBGYN on CD 58 they sent me for bloodwork and sono. They called me back said it looked fine I probably have PCOS and that my period will come about 10 or so days. I waited and waited when nothing happened I went back to the OBGYN on CD 74 to get the medication to bring on a period. Doctor told me again they think I have PCOS an gave me the prescription. I took it for all 10 days while on it felt as though my period was coming after 2 1/2 weeks when I still haven't gotten a period I called the doctor she said for some people it could take up to 3 to 4 weeks for a period to come. So here I am on CD 104 and no real period has appeared yet. I did get some very I mean very light spotting on sunday and it was only brown (sorry TMI ) then again on Monday but it was even lighter, Tuesday nothing, then again on Wednesday a very little same brown didn't even really need to wear a panty liner. Thursday and Friday nothing. So now here it is 4 weeks later and I can't say that I haven't gotten a period. I feel horrible because it is like having period symptoms for a month now. My questions are:
Has anyone ever experienced this? Isn't this really abnormal? What should I do? What can they even do for me? When they prescribed the medication they said you sometime only have spotting but this really wasn't even spotting. And then how will I know what was cycle day 1 if I never got a full period? Sorry I am just really confused and need everyone's advice. Again sorry this is so long!

Yes, it's very abnormal to not have a period for that length of time. Call your dr. again, and if he brushes you off again with a prescription for provera, find a new doctor. This happened to me when we first started TTC. I have never heard it taking 3-4 weeks after provera to have a period come on. I was told it could take up to 10 days.
On second thought, I would find a new doctor.

I agree. I had a dr. who blew my off also and I found a new one ASAP - I knew it w asn't normal for me to go that long without a period even though they told me it was.
