Never ....

have i been so nauseous. just when i thought i may have escaped morning sickness...today is just a day from hell. i'm almost 8 weeks and have been very fortunate to not be sick..until now.

i haven't "officially" gotten sick..but i feel it coming on stronger every minute. if i eat 1 more saltine..i'm gonna lose my mind.

ughhhhhhhhh.

My sis told me.. most women dont get m/s until they hit 8 weeks. She was so nice to remind me when i said "wow maybe this wont be like with sammie, i dont feel as sick".

Also if you can find the old fashioned lemon drops they were a life saver for me the first time around.

Re: Never ....

I am sorry to tell you that my first "official" M/S episode was about 2 days shy of 8 weeks pregnant and lasted until 13 weeks!!!

I hope you feel better...It will all be worth it when we get to hold our cute babies in a few months!!!!

Re: Never ....

Mine started around week 8 and I still have it at 15 weeks. I still get a lump in my throat looking at most foods. I thought it would be gone by now too.

Re: Never ....

My fear is that I will be commuting on the LIRR and have a violent m/s attack. I have all of my necessary items...(bag, saltines, water, wipes, gum, lifesavers)..but when I feel the wave of nausea I get terrifed.

Does it last allllll day?

For me, I have not had vomiting (unless I was coughing or brushing my teeth). Mine is mostly when I look at or think about food or go to eat food. You may find that as well.

Also try ginger cookies, they have more ginger in them than gingerale, pepperidge farm has yummy ones. Also try cold things such as lemon ices, or ice pops, they helped me a lot! Sour candy and cinnamon candy was another thing that helped me. Hang in there, it goes away in the 2nd trimester. It was torture Chat Icon

P.S Mine ended around 15 weeks!
