ultra screen
for those of u who recently had an ultrascreen, do they let you hear heartbeat? or do u see it flashing like normal sono's?
I never got the chance to hear it just see it!!!

just saw it at the ultrascreen...is your ultrascreen with your regular doctor or do you have to go somewhere else for it?

They let us see and hear it. We also asked for the heart rate.

I heard it at mine too, before the doctor came in to actaully take the measurements a nurse or technician gave me an ultrasound (I'm pretty sure this one was for fun and to occupy me before the Dr came in) she printed out some pictures and played the heartbeat

my ultrascreen was the first time the doctor let us hear the heartbeat...we had only just seen it at the previous u/s.

No, I didn't hear the heartbeat at my ultrascreen, just saw it. I didn't hear it until my 17 week appt.

I heard the heartbeat with the doppler at an earlier appointment (at 11 weeks). I saw the heartbeat and found out the heartrate when I had my sono (at almost 13 weeks), but I didn't hear it at that appointment.

we saw the heartbeat at my 8week sono, and then saw it and heard it at the ultrascreen and they gave us the rate as well

i just had to call my dr b/c i got ultrascreen yesterday and tech said everything looks ok... but she never showed me HB or let me hear hb. i called dr and said,,, is everything ok w/ baby b/c i wasnt shown or asked to hear hb....
all these posts were making me nervous...
they actually might have thought i was a little nuts b/c they said, dont u think we would have gotten a dr or spoke to u if there was no hb (esp since it was done at drs office)
anyway, it is odd how different offices do things differently.
i always get scared to ask techs questions b/c they usually cant say anything then it makes me even more worried!!!!!! i only like it when my doc does the tests.

I heard headbeat at the first 3 sonos (6w5d, 8 w and 12w) and at the u/s. I went to Madonna in Babylon for it and the tech did not show me but i heard it!
