Where did you get your artwork from?

We have a lot of wall space to use. We were looking for something as big or bigger than 20x20. We'd like canvas style (printed so that you don't need glass in the frame, or a frame at all). Where did you buy yours from or have you seen someplace with a decent selection?
TIA!

I saw this website in daily candy and I was going to get that one for over our couch, but we were given some beautiful peices just reciently so we decided not to get it. But I still like it a lot and have debated about purchasing it for another area.

Same as us! It's hit or miss but if you have patience you can get some nice stuff for reasonable prices.

Re: Where did you get your artwork from?

i have found the art to be nice at homegoods, marshalls, tjmaxx, bed and bath, target and lnt but many of the frames are really cheap looking. i now purchase from michales, allposters.com or art.com and have them custom framed. HUGE difference in quality.

Re: Where did you get your artwork from?

We went to the starving artist showcase and didn't see anything that suited our tastes and went with the style of the rooms.

Question for those of you that ordered from Art.com and Allposters.com.....what was the quality of the print you got? Was it like poster paper? Better? Thicker? We've seen a couple things we like on there, but DH doesn't want to get something that going to like a poster he hung on his wall when he was a kid.

I'll look in Homegoods to.

Thanks!

ballard designs always has some great ones...not cheap though. My favorite though is a store called Welcome Home in the riverhead outlets-huge selection-awesome prices.

Re: Where did you get your artwork from?

The best deals we've gotten on art have been at Ikea. Granted it's definitely a hit or miss kind of thing, but when we've found something there we've always saved a bundle. Also, Marburn curtains. I do check Homegoods as well. And AC MOORE. I buy the prints and then the frames as well and do them myself!
