That's what I get for giving in to a craving...
I met some friends for lunch today--and I saw a Monte Cristo on the menu and I just HAD to have it (hey, the ham and turkey are heated up, right?).
Well, the beauty of living in the South--it comes out looking all yummy. Lots and lots of cheese and it's on 2 giant pieces of homemade bread. I took a big bite...
...and out squishes MUSTARD!!!! MUSTARD!!!!!!! Who the HE** puts mustard on a Monte Cristo??!!!!
Btw, I hate mustard, so my whole meal was ruined. I had french fries for lunch.  I didn't even want to order another one, because the craving was totally ruined for me.

They put mustard on EVERYTHING down here. SO annoying. I say no mustard no matter what. SO gross.

I forgot to mention, though--it was on french toast. It had powdered sugar on top--and was served with a side of maple syrup!!!!!! I just really don't get the mustard part--and if you're gonna put it on the sandwich, why not write that on the menu?

French toast and mustard... yikes.. I know pregos have weird cravings. but i dont think even a preog would crave that...

I think mustard is more common down there, am I right after all, they put it on burgers
I'm not much of a mustard person. I like it only with sausages....
yeah, mustard on french toast is plain wrong.
