Is it rude
to show up at my hair cut apointment with my hair already wet?
saves me the $5-$10 that I tip the shampoo girl.. also allows me to take a full shower with my hair washed (i feel cleaner) as opposed to rinsing off and having the salon wash my hair
thoughts?

I dont think so at all. When I call and make my appointments I tell them I wont need it washed just cut and its completely fine with them!

NOT at all! At my salon, you see alot of girls that do this or they will get their hair colored but won't let them style it after (so they leave with a wethead).

neh, i don't think it's rude...
but on another note.. you tip the girl who shampoos your hair $10? How much do you give to the person actually cutting your hair?

my ipost said 5-10 range- my old salon this guy was a shampoo person and he gave this neck massage thing so of course i give him a good tip
i give my hair girl 20-25%

I would only do that with a stylist I have already been to. Any time I tree someone new - they do a quick consult before my hair gets washed to see how where it parts and how it falls - things like that.
When I get my hair just colored I never get the blow out - it just annoys me that it costs another $25 or 30 to have my hair dryed properly after getting color.

this girl is my old girl who quit this other salon. she now works at this place where i get my hair colored. i found her and i was so excited!
anyway, im going to see her and i have not had her cut my hair in a while
im going to just let them wash it.

i always get a dry cut. no shampoo or blow out. never was/is an issue.
