i think i've had it with my doctor's office

i have been leaving messages since monday trying to get the results of my glucose test, which i took on saturday. i finally find out last night at 6:30 after i REUFSED to leave another message and demanded to speak with a nurse that they hadn't gotten the results in, so they told me (very rudely) to call the lab. i had it out with the nurse for her attitude but i don't think she cared.

so i called the lab - wow was that hard and they faxed the results over right away, but couldn't release them to me over the phone. um, is there a reason the doctor's office couldn't have done this three days ago?

i left another message with the doc's office this morning and it is now almost 1pm with no call back.

i really don't think i am asking too much her i just left a message for my doctor to call me back instead.

i really like this doc and i don't think i'll change now, but i seriously doubt that i will stay with this practice for my next baby.

wow - that is so ridiculous!

I would call (or show up) and ask to speak with the Office Manager. You have a valid complaint and they need to know it!

So would I. Do you live far from the office? When I kept getting the run around, I physically went to the office and said I want to speak with a nurse, now. And they got a nurse right away to go into a room with me and give me results.
