You are so small and look amazing... I wouldn't even take what she said seriously if I were you... I am sure she had her dumb glasses on and couldn't see through the thick lens.
Oh i'm not taking it seriously! I've been cracking jokes about it all day. But it just amazes me...

Can I add my two cents?
I've been heavy my whole life. I've been asked if I'm pregnant MANY times before I was even THINKING about becoming pregnant, and that was definitely insulting to me.
But--I don't know, maybe since this is my first pregnancy and I haven't been there yet--why would the size of your pregnant belly be a source of embarrassment for you? So what if you look like you're "ready to go" and you still have a few weeks to go? The baby largely determines how big you're going to get...I guess I'm just having trouble understanding why that's a sore subject.
A good friend that I teach with is also due in July, and she's HUGE. She literally looks like she's a few weeks overdue, and we always tease her about it...asking if maybe there's another one hiding in there that they haven't found yet! She laughs about it and SWEARS it doesn't bother her.
People will be idiots, that will always be true--but it's not like you went on an eating binge and put on 100 lbs. and people are asking you about your tummy then.
I don't know, I think I'm rambling...but for me, I'm actually thinking, the bigger I get, the better! I want the WORLD to know I'm pregnant!
ETA: I don't mean to sound like a b****...maybe I just really don't understand how that comment is really that insulting.
No i understand what you're saying. I really do.
I guess what i find insulting about it is being asked if it's twins and that question within itself.
I've never had a weight problem and i've always been very secure with my body, even pregnancy body.
But what i don't get is why people think that that question is okay? I mean 99% of the time... the person isn't having twins and 100% of the time, you've just insulted that person. So why ask the question when the outcome will always be bad!
What if i wasn't secure with how i looked? What if i already felt like sh*t and thought i looked like it too?
All i'm saying is that you could call me as big as a house and i wouldn't care. I'm okay with how i look. But what about those that aren't? Do you see what i'm saying?
I think i'm rambling now too!
I totally get it now. You're right--it's one thing if someone close to you teases you about it--but I guess coming from a complete stranger it's just downright obnoxious!
