Re: Ugh, I want to start already!!!!!
Are you on track to start IVF this month? Has your DH gone through any testing? I think we might need some more info to tell where you are in the process. When are you scheduled to start IVF?

Re: Ugh, I want to start already!!!!!
I am doing IVF this month and I didn't have to have an HSG b/c when they do IVF they bypass your tubes. I remember reading that you were having IVF. I know if you were being inseminated they check your tubes. I would check that out.

Most RE's will do an HSG anyway. They need to make sure that there is some way for fluid to escape from the uterus, since there is fluid injected with the embryo's. They also want to make sure you aren't at risk for ectopic pregnancy. And lastly, the HSG helps to see the shape of the uterus, so the RE can look for a t-shaped uterus or some other situation. This way he/she is fully prepared when it comes time for retrieval/transfer.
As far as your cycle...after you have your post-HSG consult, he should start you on BCP's as soon as you get your period. IF you dont normally get a period, he will give you Provera to get a bleed.
