I am feeling so down today
I am about 8-9dpo and am feeling so hopeless. I know this was our first cycle with an IUI, and so many of you have been going through this for a VERY long time  I just don't know how to handle the disappointment. The thought of moving onto IVF (and everything it involves) is making me so upset. I know it's not over until AF shows up, but I really don't think this "is it". I guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself today

Don't get upset yet. If this cycle does not work, I am sure it will not be the last. I am sure that unless there is a good reason for it, IVF is not in your gameplan. Try to stay positive until AF shows! So many woman have no symptoms all and then they get that BFP!!!

Thanks for your reply.
I spoke to my doctor, and we will be going straight to IVF if this cycle doesn't work. I don't know how I am going to deal with the injections again

Though I think it too early to even talk about this. IVF is not as bad as you think and most usually stim pretty quickly and as all of us here have learned....you do what needs to be done and somehow we all get through it and if it comes down to that for you (and we do not know at the early stage in your cycle) you will get through it too.
But, I'm not counting you out this cycle. That is way too early to test. But, now that you did, you will have to test daily at the same time. I wish you lots of success (keep positive, its so easy to get depressed in the 2WW, I know I was there yesterday).

Don't give up yet!!!!!! Hold out a few more days and see what happens. Our timing was completely off and I "knew" I couldn't be pregnant!
You're not out of the game yet!!!!!

ITA... I was apprehensive about IVF too and it really is not as a big a deal as I thought it would be...

I would just try to hang in there... Try to stay as positive as you can...don't even worry about the IVF yet. But, if it does come to that, trust me, I thought I couldn't do and somehow - here I am. I made it waaaaay worse in my head then it actually is in reality.
But, you may not even need to go there, so just keep hanging in...

Thanks for your support, girls. It definitely helps.
I am home today from work. I am feeling sick (allergies are horrible) and am feeling a bit down. I just couldn't bring myself to go in today. I tested this AM (9-10dpo) and of course BFN. I just know this isn't it for us, and it's just really taking a toll on me. I don't know how you girls have dealt with this month after month. I give you so much credit.

Hang in there. I have reached the end of my rope many times with this whole process and somehow I manage to keep going. You will find strength you never imagined having. There will be good and bad days/weeks and that is totally normal.

Tested again this AM (yes I'm an addict) and BFN. I am about 10-11dpo. I also feel like AF will be making her appearance soon
