scared...
I am 6w 3d's pregnant and we went to see the heartbeat this morning. The dr. was not able to see one. He told me he would give me one more week. he thinks I have a 50-50 chance right now. I am a nervous wreck...this has happened before and it ended in a miscarriage. Anyone
have anything like this happen??? Thanks!!!

I haven't gone to the doctor yet, I go on friday and I will only be 5 weeks since ovulation..so I am already preparing myself if they don't see a heartbeat yet.
Try not to worry, I know it must be hard, but it might just be too soon to see a heartbeat yet. Good luck

I went about the same time as you and we did not see the heartbeat. We went back a few days later (I think at 7 weeks) and it was there beating away! It's still really early so everyday counts. I know it's hard to do, but try to relax until the next u/s.

I had this...I ovulated late----first sono at about 5 weeks they saw the gestational sac, at the 6 week they saw the sac and the yolk sac, and at the 7 week they saw the heartbeat and the fetal pole---this early on, days truly matter, you may just have been too early. Good luck

I went at 6 weeks 2 days and saw a sac...was scheduled for a D & C but I demanded another sono a week later...well..I am now 25 weeks pregnant with a healthy  !
Give it a week it might have been too early to see the heartbeat....

It may be too early to hear a heartbeat.
My doctor won't even allow a sonogram at 7 weeks. She made me come the again the following week and that's when I heard it loud and clear.
Good luck to you! I'm sure it's there but still too faint to detect now.
