I remember this story and I'm glad that they mother is being charged with something. It's terrible that some "grown-ups" out there can act like little children. I feel horrible for the Meier family!!

i remember the interview the 19yo gave to gma. the mom indicted had kept denying any involvement. the whole thing happened in her house!!!
i hope she gets convicted and that she is sentenced to the maximum term.
shame on her!

I don't understand how a woman could be a mother and do that to a young girl. How would she feel if someone said those things to her daughter??

Disgusting. My heart goes out to the young girls family. Adults are supposed to PROTECT minors, not prey on them... I hope she ends up in jail.

Then she was just mean to her, and prayed on her weaknesses-- so she ultimately committed suicide?
Honestly-- some people really should not have children. I can't believe the world we live in sometimes.

Unfortunately this is true. 
I saw Meghan's mom on the Today Show this morning, my heart breaks for her. No one should have to go through that.
The mom who started this should rot for a long time, and I hope she gets everything she deserves and then some.
And when she gets to prison, I hope she gets treated the way she treated Meghan, I hear inmates don't care much for those who hurt kids.....

This is so sad and this woman should be held accountable for her actions.
Honestly, something like this does not surprise me. I see some parents who are so wrapped up in their kids lives, to the point where the parents are vicariously living their kids' lives.
