bowed legs

hey all just wondering if anyones DC looks bowlegged. my DD is 14 months old and looks very bowlegged. her feet also turn in a little when she walks. Her pediatrician told me it is normal and they will straighten out. i also brought her to see an orthopedist and he said by 18 months old they should straighten out. has anyone gone through this and if so what was the outcome?

Re: bowed legs

My nephews all had this and all 4 of them grew out of it before it was a problem.

Re: bowed legs

I went to a peds ortopedic with 2 of my children. She said 98% of children grow out of it by the age of 5.

Re: bowed legs

I had a slight problem as a baby.

As a baby they made my mom get me special shoes.

Also I remember my parents telling me they were given something to put on my feet as I slept. Mom said she never put it on-thought it would hurt me. Even without it...I am fine now.
