Help my pick a present to buy
My step daughter's 12th birthday is almost here & I want to get her a necklace from tiffanys. I gave her loving heart silver earrings when she was my flowergirl three years ago but she took them to her mothers house & i haven't seen them in ages-they are probably lost. I was considering getting her the pendant to match-
but I have seen a lot of young girls wearing this big necklace(although I though they were sort of out of style) But I think this is too gaudy for her
So I was thinking of this, its more delicate & I can have her initials engraved on the back
Is anyone here in the know about middle school jewelry tastes? I would love to get her something classic, but girls these days don't wear anything thats not "in". Which one should I buy...or should I keep looking?

Re: Help my pick a present to buy
I'd get the loving heart pendant, or one of those initial pendants they have
What letter does her name start with? Some of the letter are so cool looking - some just look weird.

I love the initial one also, but the big one is the one I see on the students at the middle school where I teach.

Re: Help my pick a present to buy
well, i just had my 12 year old daughter look at it, and her choice would be necklace number one. "it's simple, yet elegant" -
the bracelet she thought was too plain, and the last necklace she thought would be weird that her initials would be on the back. so i told her the whole point of THAT necklace, was so that people can see the "Tiffany & Co." logo....
her response: "who cares?"
gotta love the kid who isn't label crazy!!!

Re: Help my pick a present to buy
I saw someone wearing the heart in earrings. They were absolutely gorgeous and I had no idea they were from Tiffanys. I love the heart. Also, DH bought me the heart bracelet. It was kind of expensive but definitely worth it. Did you happen to look at the bracelt to match the earrings?
