Picnic dates?
Anyone have any dates in mind? I was thinking:
(May 25th)- (not positive a/b this date yet)
June 7th
june 8th
june 21st
june 22nd
The weekend in between (mid june) I have a booth at a 3 day craft fair so I can't do anything that weekend.
please let me know what works best for you. also if we pick a place w/ a BBQ i'm going to ask my DH if he'd be willing to cook up some hot dogs/hamburgers..... and it seems that only 1 other person's DH wanted to come so far, so maybe he could help do some cooking too  If anyone else wants to bring their DH/SO please let me know- I just want to get an approximate # of ppl so we know how much stuff to plan on bringing.

I can only make June 7th. The 8th I'm getting together with my college friends in the city and the weekend of 21st I'm going to NJ for a High School graduation and I'll be staying the whole weekend.

June 22nd is really the only free date for me (us, but not sure if DH will come if others are not). We are coming out to the Island on June 21st to see James Taylor at Jones Beach, so that afternoon could work as well provided mine wants to come along.
May 25th is next weekend and it's Memorial Day weekend so that might not work out for alot of folks.

The 7th or 8th would be good for me. I don't know about the other dates b/c they might be around my retrieval or transfer dates.
I'm sure DH would want to come too if other's will be there.

ok so far it looks like almost everyone can make june 7th...
if anyone can make june 22nd also maybe we can do a different event so we can get togethe w/ mrsRbk
where will you be on the island so we can figure out if it'd work out of anyone who wants to come to meet up?

Any of those dates seem ok for us right now... So, if June 7th is when most people can meet then that works!!
Where are you thinking of meeting? Have you decided on a park yet for the picnic? What do you think you will start?

22nd is a Sunday, I don't plan to be on the Island, I'd be coming from NJ. If the majority is 6/7, then 6/7 wins, and hopefully I'll make another GTG!

Actually, I won't be able to make 6/7 I forgot that I already committed to a party (if I am up to it, its the day b/f my ER). So if thats the dates hopefully I can make the next one!

awwwwww if it's later in the summer, I could probably make it. We will probably be up sometime in July! Maybe we can do another one then? I would love to finally put some faces to the names!!!!
