Puppy spitting up
I went to let Bella out this AM from her crate and I saw that she spit up yellow bile and there was another spot on her bed with white foamy stuff .
This does not happen often, but I have noticed it a few times.
Now she is a puppy and she gets into everything, she loves grabbing tissues and ripping them apart (we have learned to put the garbage high enough where she can not get to it), while she is in the yard she trys to eat things, etc... so I am thinking maybe she is just getting sick from that?
She is fine, energetic, etc.. so there are not signs other then that.
Anyone else have this happen?

Re: Puppy spitting up
I could be wrong in your case but I will tell you my situation and you decide.... When she doesn't eat enough she throws up everytime!!! It never fails. Its always an orangy foamy bile.. This is why I have a terrible eating schedule for her. I am petrified of this happening.. It usually happens in the AM when she is in my bed.. I have had to change sheets more than I would like to!!! She is such a poor eater.. This is the ONLY heartache I get from this dog. I hope this helps you.

Katie does this sometimes, usually if she gets too excited. We give her some pepcid and she is fine.

YES!!! Bella is not the best eater either. She literally eats once a day if that. I leave food out for her all the time, but she is not interested. Maybe this is the reason

Well try to give her a little something b4 she goes to bed. That might help. and when she wakes up in the morning after she goes out give her a lamb and rice treat.. So far this is what I do and no more spitting up.. I think the rice absorbs the bile. They are by Cadet and my dog LOVES THEM!!!

Re: Puppy spitting up
My dogs do this when their stomachs are empty and need to eat. Their little bellies just get irritated by the bile and the emptiness.
After I feed them, it doesn't happen anymore. It only happens when they haven't eaten enough.

My dogs are like this too. They aren't big eaters at all. Of course if I fed them our food, they would eat all day. But their own food, they could leave all day and not touch. So this used to happen every day when my boy was a pup...not so much anymore since they do tend to a bit more since they are older and they KNOW I am not going to cave and give them what they "want" (my food)!
