Another Q for those who had M/C
Well I finally stopped bleeding from my m/c. It was a total of 7 days between the spotting and the heavier bleeding. How long after a m/c can I expect to ovulate again? Does the bleeding of a m/c act like CD1?

Re: Another Q for those who had M/C
I would not count the first day of bleeding from an m/c as CD 1. After the m/c is over, you will eventually get AF and should count the first day of full flow.
Each woman is different as to when that happens. After my first m/c, which was a chemical pregnancy, it was relatively fast. I got AF in about 26 days after the end of the m/c. After the second m/c at about 6-7 weeks, it took a week and a half longer for the m/c to start and a little longer to finally get AF.
I am sorry you have to go through this.

Re: Another Q for those who had M/C
I had a natural miscarriage in March at 11 weeks and bled for a total of 10 days. I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1 and ovulated two days later than normal at CD20. Got my period 30 days after mc began. I was also charting temps.
But it's different for everyone. Good luck!

Re: Another Q for those who had M/C
Sorry for your loss, I know how tough that is. With me, I bled for longer than you and AF took quite awhile to show up, I think it was 6-7 weeks. I had a D & C, which I believe prolongs AF's arrival if I'm not mistaken - I know a few who m/c naturally who got it much quicker. Anyway, you should count the first full day of AF as CD1. Best of luck to you and again, sorry for your loss.

Re: Another Q for those who had M/C
Thanks for your responses ladies. My m/c was very early and natural (no d&c). I guess I am just trying to figure out if I should expect a normal cycle after this. I would normally O around day 17 and I am wondering if I should expect to O around 17 days after the m/c started. TIA!

Re: Another Q for those who had M/C
I had two very early M/C's and I counted the first day of bleeding as cycle day one. I used my monitor both times that cycle and O'd, according to the monitor around the usual time I do.
Again, So sorry.

Re: Another Q for those who had M/C
I miscarried just about at 7 weeks. And, I ovulated exactly one week later, during which time, I conceived my DD. Every woman is different, but expect the unexpected - it can happen very soon after

I think your best bet would be to pay attention to Cm and use OPK's because you really have no idea when you are going to O. I bled for 30 something days and I O'd somewhere during that and then stopped bleeding for about a week and then got Af. So you really can't predict O.
