only at night in our bedroom - we open up all the windows and put the dining room fan on during the day.

Nope. We get a huge cross breeze at our house so we rarely use the A/C at all.

It actually is much better for allergies. If you open the windows then all the pollen comes inside. If you open windows in your bedroom especially you are sleeping in pollen.
I have bad allergies now and if I stay indoors I am fine. But once I step outside my eyes water, my nose runs, and I get congested. Not good.
We have been running the CAC on and off for about a month now. I don't want to open the windows.
Feeling comfortable has no price for me.

yes.
last night.
we rent on 2nd floor and I don't think the insulation from roof is best b/c once it gets over 75 degrees it just is BAKING in our apt and it doesn't cool down (it's actually cooler outside than in our apartment).
so we put the air on last night- it was too humid.
we are in NJ- it's like 10 degrees hotter where we are compared to S shore of LI.

We haven't put ours on yet. We open the windows and use fans. DH sweats a lot so I don't know how much longer we will hold out though.
