we call him "baby c" (first letter of our last name) around other people, "jack" at work, and by his name when it's just the two of us.

I feel compelled to explain the baked good theme 
DH's nickname for me is a baked good... and my mom once described me (on the day dad and mom brought me home from the hospital) as 'she looked like a little loaf in dad's hand'. Hence the little loaf.
I should add, I'm so proud Crouton was mentioned in the title of this thread  Thanks

We weren't finding out the gender, so we called the baby "It", "Little Taquito" (they were this freezer snack my stepdaughters liked," and "Hairy beast" because of all the heartburn I had!
