Spotting? Update
I always spot on 11dpo(no different this month) and then get AF on 13 DPO or CD1. I thought this indicated low progesterone but my progesterone came back normal on 5dpo? What else could this be?
Oh and I guess I'm out.
UPDATE: I spoke to Dr. Brenner last night and he's still hopeful that this cycle worked, but he is going to put me on progesterone for the second half of my next cycle. He said that my progesterone was really good at day 5 but we would obviously like to prevent the spotting so early. We also discussed Clomid and it's something that DH and I are going mulling over. The triplets thing scares me a bit but really what are the odds? He also mentioned doing a water sono to rule out any polyps. Has anyone done this? I was really happy that I got to speak to him about moving forward and next cycle's protocol.

Re: Spotting?
You're only spotting? As long as AF is not in full force maybe its implantation bleeding?

Re: Spotting?
Yeah I'd like to hope that it was implantation bleeding but this happens every month like clockwork. Which is why I'm thinking I'm out. My LP is 12 days but the spotting always starts on 11.
Carolyn, I kinda thought it meant it was just OK so now that you mention that it can drop, I will definitely ask the doctor about that. Thanks!

Re: Spotting?
Spotting before AF usually means a very low drop in progesterone and estrogen, once AF starts it starts to raise until it reaches O day, then it drops again....
I would get them tested (P4 & E2) right before your AF comes.....low levels of P4 and E2 are not good and might lead to your body not be able to sustain a healthy pregnancy once you have a fertilized egg.......

Oh gosh, scary but good to know. I wonder why Dr. Brenner never mentioned this or asked if I spotted when we had my consult? I'm going to call today. Thanks ladies.

I had a water sono and it turned out that I did have polyps so I had to get my uterine cavity cleaned out. It was a pain to go through all that but I'm glad I did! BOTB
