We've had one for over 8 years. We got one of the first ones that DishNetwork made. Now we have one with 250+ hours, and the ability to add infinitely more storage with external USB drives. With that much space, and two receivers, we can't keep up. It's recording faster than we can watch it! Even with skipping commercials and boring parts!  
DC love it. DS gets confused when we go to other people's houses and he can't watch EXACTLY what he wants to watch EXACTLY when he wants to....
