Labor fears..
the past week or so I have had the worst fear of dying in child birth..I dont know why, but it has just been everywhere lately ( Jersey girl was on, then a story on parenting board, Law and Order SVU last night)
I am so ready to have this baby, not afraid of it hurting, but terrified of a traveling blood clot, or aneursym

I have the same fear, I try not to think about it too much. The happiness of that moment of seeing my child outweighs any fears I have.
Try to think good thoughts.

Its really good to know I am not the only one who thinks about this, I thought I was a looney toon for thinking such things

we never watch SVU, but dh wanted to watch because Robin Williams...and then we just sat there in bed after it was over in silence...until dh decided to say " so you probably didnt need to see that"

I am the biggest baby especially when it comes to receiving medical help but this doesn't scare me in the least. Just think, giving birth is completely natural. Yes, years upon years ago it was common for mothers to die during birth but it's not really heard of much these days although anything can happen of course.
Just think positive, everything will be fine
