Labor Fears
As I get closer and closer to my due date, I am up all night worrying about giving birth and if I am going to be able to handle the pain. Is anyone else feeling like this?

Yes I did. I am having surgery fears now. The unknown is a scary thing. Just know you can handle it. The pain is NOT as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I dont think this is true.
The pain truly is awful..the thing is you WILL Deal with it. You have to, you cant back out. And you will deal better then you thought you could. And once its over you WILL forget it and it will be worth it.
Try to hold on to that.

It's def not as bad you think it will be. Your thoughts are worse, but believe me, once you go into labor, you will DO ANYTHING to get that baby out!
It's amazing where you pull strength from to give birth.

Yes! I had a dream a while back that we were in the car heading to the hospital and I kept yelling to DH - I change my mind, I can't do this, let's go home.

Labor really isn't as bad as it you think it will be. It hurts, don't get me wrong but you can get pain medicine for it. The fear of the unknown and anxiety is worse then actual labor.

I was beyond scared the first time too....but once your holding your baby it all goes away and you really do forget...Its so worth it and would do it anyday!!!

This is what I am saying to myself... kind of like a personal mantra. Power of the mind is amazing, and if I am shocked at this is wrong when the time comes, so be it.

I didn't think it was as bad as I thought it was going to be.
If anyone is truly terrified I really recommend hypnobirthing. If anyone wants any info just FM me. It made me relaxed and I had a wonderful birth experience.
