I just realized I didn't take my prenatal last night - ?
should I take it now and again tonight or skip it and just take 1 for the day?

ITA - i forgot to take my prenatals almost my whole vacation two weeks ago.  fortunately baby looks fine!

If you forget to take it nothing is going to happen--lol I didn't take a vitamin the first 3 months because I was so sick with MS and my baby was fine!

I forgot to take them for most of this pregnancy. Having more than one child you forget to do things

i always forget. sometimes i forget to take them like 3 -4 nights in a row. just take it tonight.

i was sick with a virus for 3 weeks and didnt take them at all. I just couldnt. My dr. knew and didnt say anything so terrible about it. Im sure you will be fine for one day :)

never double up on your vitamins....
while pregnant, you shouldn't take in too much vit A.... since excessive amounts cause some pretty bad birth defects.
prenatal vits have reduced amounts of vit A relative to standard vitamins.... if you were to double up, you would get more vit A than you need... and depending upon what you ate that day, you may get way too much A in your diet....
if you forget, just pick-up where you left off... don't take the skipped pills

As an aside--my RE told me today that if I can't stomach the prenatal vitamins, I can take 2 Flintstones chewables instead!

Thats what I have been doing. Flintstones vitamins tasted much better when I was a kid, however it is 100% better than when I was taking the prenatal!
