If you normally give cash.... give cash!! if you would have went out to buy a gift then just pick something off the registry. She/or fiance' obviously comes from a "gift giving" family and she was probably afraid to get a bunch of gifts she would have to return... I dont think it was so bad to send that card out. Personally I give cash always did and so does ALL of my family. I did receive one gift at my wedding and I did return it... It came from a friend of my DH.... All I remember was having to remember to not leave it at the hall!!!! Give cash its so much easier.
