When did you register?

I've heard all different responses--I feel that I should probably wait until about 20 weeks...but I'm already chomping at the bit and 20 weeks is 13 1/2 weeks away!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: When did you register?

I started after I got my amnio results at about 19 weeks at BBB and then finished at BRU this week (22 weeks).

Re: When did you register?

I always plan way ahead.... after the good ultrascreen results (week 13), I began the tedious task of registering.... I'm STILL not 100% done, but at 18 weeks, I DO have a very good draft version....

Re: When did you register?

We registered when I was 22 weeks after it was confirmed we were having a Chat Icon

Although, I started it online when I was probably 18 weeks. It made life easier when we actually WENT to BRU to scan everything. The only thing I stuck on there when I was 18 weeks was the pack n play.

Keep in mind, they come out with NEW items and patterns every few months and discontinue old ones. So you don't want to register too early only to find that some of your most wanted items are being discontinued! Chat Icon

Re: When did you register?

I'm an impatient person and I was so excited that I registered at 10 weeks! You can always go back and change things when you find out you're having, it's not really a big deal when you register. Just keep updating it every so often and you should be set!

Re: When did you register?

I started around 16 weeks and worked slowly. I felt it was best for me b/c there was a family illness/surgery around 20w and I helped out for a bit.

You can start one when you feel comfortable and you can always create a wishlist too.

Re: When did you register?

If you don't plan on finding out what the baby is you can register now...keep in mind they could discontinue some of your items and they will probably come out with new styles.

I registered when I found out what I was having...20 weeks. I am not registering this time.

Re: When did you register?

AFter the level 2 (around 21-22 weeks). But I started researching around 17 weeks or so. I got the Baby Bargains books and read reviews online. By the time we went to register I knew most of the stuff I wanted so it was quick and painless.

Re: When did you register?

I started my registry right after my 12 week Ultra Screen and they told me everything looked great. I'm now about 18 1/2 weeks and I just finished getting my whole registry together this past weekend. It's SO much fun but it took me a few trips to work it all out!! Chat Icon

Re: When did you register?

We registered today at 18.5 weeks. But only for a few things that weren't gender specific.

My Level II is on Tuesday. We'll do the bulk of our registering after that.

Re: When did you register?

We registered for the "big stuff" (stroller, carseat, etc) at 13 weeks. Those are items we wanted gender neutral so we could use them again.

Everything else we waited until the Level II.

Re: When did you register?

I did it pretty late, but when I did do it I had already done a tone of research and pretty much knew what I wanted (I was 25 weeks)
