How did you know what to register for!?
I thought the nursery was stressful! 
I started registering online and I'm just totally overwhelmed. There are just so many darn options.
How the heck did you girls decide what products/items to register for?
Did you girls read up on things prior to registering? (Like different bottles, nipples, etc.) Or did you just wing it?

I read up a lot. Even before I got PG. Then I would go to the store and check out the stuff in person. It took me a long time to perfect it

Ive just gone by word of mouth from other recent 'mom's in my family. Talk is prob the best way to get answers about items

Definitely buy the book Baby Bargains. That helps a lot. I'm still not even halfway done registering, but bring the book to the store and when you find something you like, you can look it up in the book and see what the rating is for it. I would also ask a recent mom what she needed and didn't need. There's a lot of stuff that you do not need right away. If you go to the store, they will also give you a list like when you register for your wedding, of things you need.

Got the book Baby Bargains, read up alot on comments of products, got help from this site and friends and family with children

I agree, this is exactly what we did.
