She loves it!
WE live near a busy street and I dont want to let her out
I take her in the back and she walks around, rolls in the grass, chases bugs, etc.
I have a harness she wears. Everytime I take it out of the drawer she goes and sits by the door! Then I have a 16 foot retractable leash

I would love too
they love birds- I open up the patio door and they go nuts over all the sounds and birds that come to the feeder
I wish I could get one of them on a leash- but they are too fiesty

my ex-boyfriends parents used to do that. They had a leash for the cat and when he wanted to go outside, he'd sit by the leash and meow. They'd take him to the front of the house where they had a small tree stump or branch or something (I forgot exactly what they used to secure the other end of the leash to), but the cat loved it. He would lay in the sun for a couple of hours, eat some grass. He loved it.

Same here. We have a harness and the walk and lead leash. He loves going out!!!!
We walk him in our backyard.

We do, although he is not obsessed with the harness. He kind of crawls in it, rather than walks. He loves going outside, but we are too afraid of just letting him loose.

I want to try this too, not take them for walks but to let them go outside for a little bit. I bought a harness the other day and took two of them out (the other one wouldn't let me get near her) and they were kind of scared. But I think they will enjoy it once they get used to it.

My neighbors walk their cat all the time. The girls take him out on a leash. It looks a little tough - half the time, they end up carrying the cat!
