Nissan Murano Owners
Do you put premium gas in your car? We were but now with the gas prices we are leaning towards putting regular. The manual says recommended.

i dont have a Murano but our SUV says to put Premium too and every now and again we'll throw regular in because the gas prices are so high. But i can definitely tell the difference driving when we put in regular. Its not as fast. But i think the occasional tank of regular cant do too much harm. BUT i may be wrong since i know nothing about cars, lol.

I did notice the difference in driving with premium too...it's smoother nicer. Damn gas prices.

DH might take over his dad's, but I always thought that whatever gas you put, just keep putting that and you'll be OK....

I don't have a Murano, but I recently got a new car, and for the first time today used something other than regular and it KILLED me!!!

I always put regular in it but they did say to use premium. There was a difference in the way it rode with the different gases.

i never use regular for my murano, i was told by the dealership not to. i use the "middle one" forgot what it is called.
the other day i was on E and put in $60 and it almost got me to FULL

I lease mine so I put regular, our other car we own so i put super. thats our motto... if you own it put super, if its a lease, then regular is fine.

I have a 2006 Murno and the owners manual says you can use regular fuel.
You will get better mileage with Premium but at these prices I don't think it will pay for itself.
I use regular and drive like a mad man with no loss in performance.

I just heard on something (maybe Today Show?) that if it says use regular or recommends premium - use regular - it makes no difference.
