Immune to the Disappointment
Well, AF showed up in full glory today and I had no reaction. This was my fifth failed IUI cycle and I think I have become numb and immune to the disappointment. I have no more tears to cry and I don't even feel upset. Maybe it's because each cycle I expect to not become PG since that's the way it has gone throughout the past year. Well, May will be a break month for me while I take some time to seriously think about IVF. I think I am done with IUI.

I am in the same boat. Only AF is not here yet. I did two failed IVF and now back to IUI's . I just did my 6th or 7th I stoped counting. I could have written this post myself. I am so sorry for you. I just dont know when enough is going to be enough!! I thought I was ready to give up but I cant say that anymore. This is some rollercoaster. I will be remembering you in my prayers.

I'm so sorry. I know what you mean. I am already thinking about what we are going to do next cycle and I haven't even had my IUI yet.
Its just the nature of this ugly beast.

I feel the same way. I am in the 2ww and have no desire to poas. I have been thinking of what needs to be done for my ivf cycle next month. I hate that this sucks all optimism and hope from you. it stinks!

I remember that feeling. I had 13 iui's and after about 5 I felt the same way. Maybe once or twice I got upset after that but yes unnfortunatly your body and mind try to protect you and you cope differently.

I'm so sorry. I just had my 7th failed IUI last month and had the exact same feeling.
After a month of not having any Dr. appointments, I'm feeling more positive and ready to move on to the next step.
