Re: Just complaining...
Ohhhhhhhhh boy, do I remember that feeling! You're not getting sick, honey, you're nearing the end of your pregnancy. Trust me, it's not fun, but it'll go quickly and you'll be so relieved to have your baby boy in your arms. I just remember going to sleep the night after I had Ava thinking, "Thank god, I'm all by myself again!" Don't push yourself and drink tons of water. Hang in there!

Re: Just complaining...
hang in there and remember to listen to your body. if you need to slow down at work you should slow down. you may have 3.5 weeks until you are due but your body and baby boy may have other plans

Re: Just complaining...
Be careful!! The work will get done - if someone else has to do it - then so be it!! Your health right now is the most important thing...and your body is sending you some pretty clear signals to slow down! Please listen and rest!!!

I have an appointment with the midwives tomorrow. I really don't want to stop working early because I am worried about my department. Our manager is out and I am the "acting" manager right now. There is no one else to pick up the slack. We are already short staffed and although the people there are hard workers for the most part, they don't have much experience. I will see how my appointment goes tomorrow.
Jul we are due a day apart (though I am having a c-section earlier) and I am already on my second week out of work. I love my students and didn't want to leave but you have to think of your body and the baby first. If you are that uncomfortable then you need to stop, as much as you might want to. Work is work but your health and the baby come first. It was a hard dose of reality for me. I kept saying but my students need me and they don't have a leave replacement and I have some students that have a state test. Well everyone else had to step up and take my classes, because the district couldn't plan properly.I thought everyone would be mad at me but they all said the same thing- you and the baby come first.
Please try and rest up!!!

Keep your feet up...keep your salt intake down.
It will be over soon.

Re: Just complaining...
Thanks for all of your support. I had my appointment today and my first internal. (I am 36 weeks 5 days).
My midwife said everything I am experiencing is normal for the end of pregnancy. She suggested I stop working - for comfort reasons. She said medically I could continue working. I decided to stay at work for now. Since I am seeing them every week now, my next appointment is only 3 work days away (Tuesday). So I am going to see how I feel then.
