Ladies selling their GOLD...

you are all coming home with pockets full of $$ - good for you! Chat Icon

Ok, now my question is - how much are you going IN with?

Are you bringing boxes full of gold necklaces, chains, rings, etc., or are we talking a few pieces?

I want to do this, but I want to make sure it's worth my while. Let me know what your jackpot amounted to.

Thanks Chat Icon

so, you can just sell your old stuff and not be obligated to buy new from them - right?

Re: Ladies selling their GOLD...

I had my gold in a sandwich bag that only filled the bottom. Some thin chains, initial rings, initial charms, misc pieces and I received $500.
It was definitely worth the trip for me, since it was all old stuff from ex's that would never be worn again.

ETA: You can take the money and leave. No obligation to buy anything.
I took the $$ and bought a new BBQ and mini-frig for the yardChat Icon

Re: Ladies selling their GOLD...

I guess I will give it a try. I don't have much. My grandfather was a jeweler and there is no way I would get rid of the stuff he handmade!!! I will, however, get rid of some ex-boyfriend jewelry but they all knew that I liked my grandfather's pieces, so I didn't ask boyfriends for jewelry.

What about platinum? I heard this is valuable too and I have a ring to unload.

A lady here at work got around $900 and she probably had 1/4 of a sandwich bag filled up with gold.

That's about how much I had...really thin necklaces (probably about 10), herringbone bracelets and thinner (maybe 5), a bunch of old pairs of earrings, charms from junior high school Chat Icon ...all that and I got over $1100 Chat Icon

I went there on Friday with junk gold and got $300! It was a few thin chains, a couple of rings, a few necklaces, nothing particularly heavy.
