GPS question
can someone explain to me how gps works...i dont even have a car, i was thinking of getting on for my bf's car....do u buy one model and thats it? do u pay for the gps everymonth?
does it matter what kind of car HE has?
any advice would be great!

GPS are satellite linked. They have an antenna that sees where you are and tells you how to get where you are going. Yes, you buy the one you want (I have a Garmin 680) and that is it. Of course there are some that come with Traffic (avoidance) that is an added service. It doesn't matter what kind of car.
