Is anyone else on here but me gaining ??
It seems like so many of you have gained only a tiny bit of weight. So little in fact, that I am embarressed!
I am 17 weeks, and have gained 14 lbs. I gained a total of 42 last pg, and I am probably on track to do the same. I don't overeat, or eat bad things too much....so I don't get it!!!! Maybe it's a pre determined thing.
I was thinking of going to a nutritionist, but I think I already know what to eat, and I'm not too far off base.

if you're not overeating, or eating really fatty / carby stuff, then it's not fat, and you don't have to worry!
I think genetics play a role. In some families, preggos get huge bellies, and other families they barely show. that must be due to water weight....
I haven't gained one pound, but on the flip side, my mom gained so little that she never wore maternity clothes when she was carrying me  so if I gain 20, I bet 12 will be fat 
it's not how much we gain during pregnancy that we should worry about, it's how much remains when breastfeeding is over

As I eat my sun chips... I have gained 29lbs at 29 weeks.
My doc isn't concerned but I am hoping that it comes off as easily as I put it on

You are not alone!! I am 17 weeks and have put on @ 20 lbs. I eat healthy and look and feel fine, thats what counts!

I am right there with you. At 35 weeks and I have already gained almost 40 lbs!!!
I also eat healthy, but my activity level has gone way down. So I think that has a lot to do with it.

I definitely gained! It doesn't help that I cannot stop eating sweets: fruit, juice, cookies, etc!! I was always a chubette and I am sure I will be a house when I am in the 3rd trimester!

Starting to get worried, especially because I am CLOSELY watching what I eat...

Dont worry!
I gained 50lbs with my DS, and you know what I was huge and proud of it! My ds was a big happy healthy baby!
Totally dont worry, I am a believer that your body will keep what it needs, some will only gain 20lbs, some 70.
All that matters is the end result -- a healthy baby!

I am 27 weeks and gained 35 lbs
with DD#1 I gained 60 lbs
DD#2 50lbs
My mom gained 80 lbs with me
after I had mine I lost a tremendous amount of weight in the first 2 mnths so i think it might be alot of water weight
