My dh wants to get a challenger or a cuda,YOU know how expensive these car's are??? I told dh that he will be waiting a longtime till he gets one 'BUT' before he can get one I hhave to get a new car first.

OH I feel your pain with a Mustang obsessed DH . He has an '83 that he fully remade but hasn't driven in a LONG time (it's more of a race car...really loud!) We don't have room in our garage for it yet b/c it's full of crap so it sits at his mothers as we pay insurance for it. I try to convince him to sell it but he refuses . He crashed his '01 so then he got an '04. He then found a Cobra that he loved (it was like an '06 I think) but it was used and something was wrong with the engine so he got a new '07 instead. The difference is I will only allow GTs although he would LOVE a Saleen!!! I told him when I die he can get it .

His (our  ) 89 Mustang is on it's 3rd engine...he keeps finding bigger better ones to shove in there
Now he wants to put more $$ into it so he can race it (or have our friend race it) at Riverhead.... guess what the pot is if you win..........ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. My DH named his car "Katie" just so he can say "ohh, I am spending time with Katie tonght"

dh is car obsessed too but doesn't buy them. he has a bmw 325i and wants to get a new bmw. he's absolutely crazy but his newest obsession is getting a motorcycle. no way in hell is he getting one.
